OPAWZ Lightening Cream contains nutrient oils to help reduce hair dryness and breakage during lightening. It lifts dark hair to brown or light blonde, not white.

This pack includes one 100g tub of Lightening Cream and one 200ml bottle of Developer.

Important safety information

Check the pet’s skin health before use and read the full manufacturer’s instructions carefully. Incorrect use may increase the risk of allergic reactions or skin burns.

Suitable for healthy adult dogs and horses only. Do not use on elderly or pregnant pets, cats or small animals. The manufacturer recommends using this product 1–2 weeks before dyeing.

Colour results

The lightened base colour will affect any dye applied afterwards, particularly blues, greens and purples. Pale-toned dyes may not show as intended. If unsure, carry out a colour test patch to preview the result.

Pre-test, 48 hours before application

Always carry out a pre-test 48 hours before use. Do not bathe the pet beforehand.

• Check that the skin in the areas to be lightened has no damage, redness or swelling.
• Thoroughly mix 1 part Lightening Cream with 2 parts Developer.
• For the pre-test only, the manufacturer instructs applying the mixture to a test area, including contact with the hair roots, and leaving it for 30 minutes. Do not touch the roots during the actual lightening application.
• Proceed with normal lightening only if the pet experiences no discomfort during the pre-test.

Application instructions

• Do not bathe the pet before application. Comb the coat thoroughly, avoiding combs with sharp needle tips that could cause damage.
• Check every area to be treated for skin damage, redness or swelling.
• Thoroughly mix Lightening Cream and Developer at a ratio of 1:2.
• Apply evenly to the desired areas, keeping approximately ½ inch (1 cm), as stated in the manufacturer’s instructions, away from the roots.
• Leave at room temperature for approximately 25 minutes.
• Rinse with water at approximately 25°C. Apply Deep Cleanse Shampoo, lather thoroughly, then rinse clean and dry.
